It is important that you know the difference between soy proteins and soy isoflavones since they bring about so much confusion. Soy isoflavones are usually found in soy products and beans. The soy beans has three major categories of isoflavones which include genitism, daidzin and glyticin. Just like soy proteins however, they also provide several health benefits to human beings.

Usually, soybean vitamins have a composition of only isoflavones and on the other hand, soy foods are composed of isoflavones, proteins, saponins, minerals, proteins and vitamins which are all important to the body.

Knowing the difference between soy isoflavones and soy protein is greatly important. Isoflavones are natural plant chemicals (called phytochemicals) which are found in soybeans and other legumes. There are three types of isoflavones contained in soybeans. These are genistein, daidzin, and glycitin, the glycoside form is the isoflavones most common form.

The common form of the soy beans is called the glycoside which is formed by the earlier named forms of the isoflavones which naturally attached to the sugar molecule. The human digestive system contains certain bacteria that breaks that molecule during the procedure of digestion. That leads to formation of the corresponding forms of flavones. What makes these group of organic compounds recommended type of food supplement is simply because it contains a part or whole of different forms of isoflavones.

Another very important component of soybeans is the proteins. The proteins in soybeans contain all the nine amino acids that are required by the body. These amino acids are usually linked together to make proteins. Nowadays, nutritionists recommend the use of soybeans to supplement meat with too much cholesterol and fat. Note that too much fats and cholesterol is not good for the body as they bring about diseases like heart problem.

As you read the rest of this article, you will get to know the different benefits of using soybean vitamins to supplement your diet. Isoflavones, found in many soybean vitamins, are shown to be partly responsible for the benefits of soy consumption. Soy group of organic compounds, by themselves, provide important benefits and supplementing them with soy foods that contain isoflavones and protein will surely produce amazing results. The protein in soy isoflavones has received an FDA-approved heart health claim while purified isoflavones can help with menopausal discomforts, including night sweats and hot flashes.

Much has been said about soy foods and vitamins, but then we need to stress on the importance of eating balanced diet.
